wealth of experience in the industry.

Jerome Booth


Jerome became the new chairman of New Call In July 2013, adding significant investment through his private office, New Sparta Limited.

An economist, entrepreneur, investor, commentator and leading expert on emerging markets, Jerome was previously Head of Research at Ashmore Group plc, a world leading emerging markets asset management company that he helped set up.

Jerome is an active investor in a range of businesses, including media, film, telecoms and insurance. He is also a regular keynote speaker at conferences and has contributed articles to the national and international media.

Richard Jennings

Group Chief Financial Officer

Richard is responsible for the financial management, governance and strategic direction of both New Call. An expert in high-growth strategies and management buy-and-build opportunities, he was involved in the 2010 management takeover which established New Call as one of the UK's fastest growing broadband companies.

Prior to his role at New Call, he was a founding partner at Cyntergy Services, an outsourced IT-support services company with more than 100 analysts handling over 40,000 calls per month. Richard was also Senior Vice President of Global Finance at Touchbase Group, Finance Director at Dunnhumby and European Finance Director at Towers Perrin.

He is also a former CFO of two AIM-listed companies: Clarity Commerce, an integrated software and tech services company, and Corpora, a specialist provider of knowledge management software.

Sanjeev 'Bobby' Sarin

Chief Executive Officer, Ozone Networks

Bobby is the founder and CEO of Ozone networks, the largest public Wi-Fi provider in India. He was previously COO of UK public Wi-FI provider, The Cloud, where he successfully completed on the sale of the company to bSkyb.

Before that he held various senior leadership roles in global telecoms, including Global Vice President at British Telecom Global Services, COO of Carrier1, Managing Director of Start 21, and Director of Sales and Marketing at Nortel Dasa. He also sits on Boards in Africa & India.

He holds a Masters in Computer Science from the University of London and an Executive MBA from Tuck University in Boston.

Vikas Saxena

Chief Executive Officer, Nimbuzz

Vikas took over as Chief Executive Officer of Nimbuzz in August, 2012. A prominent name in the global technology and telecom sector, Vikas is responsible for the overall business strategy and operations of the technology brand across the globe.

He was previously country founder and Country Head of Nimbuzz India, where he was responsible for building the team, sales and marketing and partnering with other strategic technology brands. He previously held leadership roles at Bharti Airtel and Deutsche Telekom.

Chris Adams

Chief Executive Officer, Wavecrest. MD New Call Telecom (UK)

Chris is CEO of WaveCrest, the global voice wholesaler. He joined WaveCrest in 2003 as European Sales Director, where his responsibilities spanned Continental Europe and the recently liberalised Eastern European locations.

Prior to WaveCrest, he held a senior leadership role at Interoute and played a key role in developing the emerging wholesale business and was instrumental in setting up and growing numerous European PTT relationships. He also previously held a number of senior leadership roles in large retail businesses including House of Fraser.

Rhys Williams

Group Chief Technical Officer

One of the original founders of WaveCrest, Rhys has more than 20 years of experience working in the telecom sector. Rhys spent the first part of his career with GEC-Marconi working in various roles from embedded software design through to large scale mobile radio network design based on technologies such as MPT1327 and TETRA.

A series of wireless and VoIP based start-ups between 1998 and 2000 finally resulted in the birth of WaveCrest which brought (and continues to bring) a whole new set of challenges. Rhys is a keen cook and enjoys nothing more than spending time with his wife and daughter - it's just a shame they don't share his enthusiasm for Rugby.
